About Our Program
Combining fun and education, USD Hagshama’s birthright trip gives you the one of a lifetime chance to experience Israel’s beauty as well as it’s complexity.
Once you choose to join USD Hagshama for the 10 day experience that will change your life, you will embark on an exciting journey taking you from the lowest point in the world found at the Dead Sea, to the pinnacle of mount Massada. In between those two you will visit the Western Wall, ride a camel in the enchanting desert, enjoy wine-tasting in the Galilee, experience a Jewish Sabbath in Jerusalem, watch an authentic musical show, explore Tel-Aviv – a young and dynamic city – and learn about the historical traditions of the nation.
Hagshama will expose you to the diversity of Israeli society: social initiatives of young people who want to contribute, contemporary culture and will also allow you acquaint yourself with the complex political scene of the country. Our tour will connect you to your Jewish roots and will encourage you to ask questions and look for their answers.
This trip, in our mind, is just the beginning of your relationship with Israel. Hagshama’s staff doesn’t just take you to Israel – once you’re home, they bring Israel back to you!
