Why should I go to Israel now?
There are endless reasons why you should go to Israel…
You should go to Israel now because of what Israel can offer you: a chance to experience the history, religion, culture, democracy, technology, agriculture, music, diversity and vibrancy of the reborn homeland of the Jewish people. Whether you are a business major interested in Israel's high-tech sector or a Jewish student seeking to reconnect with your heritage, there has never been a better time than now to go to Israel.
What makes our program special?
Our program is designed to give you a taste of all that Israel has to offer. We visit important Israeli attractions like the Kotel and the Dead Sea, but also meet with young Israeli activists, politicians, and community leaders to discuss current issues in Israeli society.
Is it safe to go?
The safety of our participants is our top priority. Each group will travel with a guard and medic at all times. In addition, a safety and security orientation will be conducted for EVERY group upon arrival in Israel. Taglit - birthright Israel constantly reviews and implements the most stringent measures throughout your trip to ensure your safety.
So how much does it really cost?
The trip is absolutely free!!! The only thing you must provide is a $250 refundable deposit, which will be returned to you after you return from your trip.
What exactly is included in the trip?
Your gift includes travel from selected gateway cities, accommodations in top hotels, all meals and a once in a lifetime experience to tour Israel for ten days with people from all around the United States!!!
Will I be able to leave the group when we have "free time"?
Participants must stay with the group at all times.
Can I extend the trip, and how much would it cost?
Once accepted you can extend your trip through www.giltravel.com/extensionsinfo.htm for $125 or extend your trip once in Israel for $50.
