Hagshama hosted a boardroom lunch for young professionals at ABL, a law firm in the city, with youngest Knesset member, Tsipi Hotobely. The topic was "One State Solution in a democratic state", how do we maintain a Jewish majority? ABL provided a light lunch and a boardroom for fourty young adults, the majority of whom are lawyers, to hear Tsipi Hotolevy who was brought out by Limmud Oz. The session was very interactive. Tsipi invited each person to introduce themselves and was very open to answering questions. She presented the three scenarios currently on offer for dealing with the conflict: Status quo, Two state solution and One state solution and then asked everyone to vote. No one voted for One state solution, which she was not suprised by, and went on to present why she thinks it is the best solution. The attendees were equally divided between the other two options.
Even though her position was not shared by others she provided an interesting platform for discussion and engagement.
The feedback i have received from this event has been very positive.
