Student leaders in the Toronto area, who attend universities across Ontario, were invited by Hagshama and CAMERA to an evening in appreciation of their work this past year on campus. Students mingled and networked over Israeli wine and cheese and Israel flag cookies.

The highlight of the evening was a talk from Sgt. Benjamin Anthony (Res.) of Our Soldiers Speak. Sgt. Anthony, who was born and raised in England, spoke to the students about his experience in the Israeli Defence Forces and addressed the important role they play on campus as advocates for Israel. At the end of his speech, he allowed time for an extensive question and answer period.

This event was an icebreaker for Hagshama in Ontario, reintroducing our programs and making our presence known to key players in the student communities.
