Good Luck to the new North American Hagshama Team!
Led by Oded Feuer, the incoming Hagshama representative in North America, Ofer Gutman, the outgoing shaliach, and Roi Abecassis, the director general of the department who arrived especially for the occasion, a week-long training seminar was held in New York as is the custom to hold at the beginning of each academic year. This is an intensive training program where the new coordinators learn all that is awaiting them in their new role from the current coordinators, and the Israeli representative. They learn about routine work, about annual campaigns, special projects and personal initiatives.
In the framework of the training, the team met with a wide array of representatives from different Jewish and Zionist organizations that work in North America, with whom they are expected to cooperate throughout the year.
The team, though comprised of mostly new coordinators this year, united in the expectation to start the activity year and the joint work. We from Israel join these expectations and wishes for a fruitful activity year of mutual cooperation.
