"Changes" in Venezuela initiates and carries out morally significant Jewish activities
The "Changes" forum headed by Mercedes Benmocha of the Hagshama department is a place where Bnei Akiva, HaShomer Hatzair and Noar LeNoar movements all sit together . The aim of the forum is to focus upon challenges and objectives, plan activities that will conserve Jewish values and disseminate them among the young population. The forum has already accomplished a few projects and is planning for ample activities for the coming year.
Among the main activities already accomplished, we can note: the solidarity event for the kidnapped soldiers, that included prayers and movie clips that were especially designed for the evening; inter-movement seminar that was supported also by the Jewish Agency, Hebraica and Masa; and a special activity for Yom HaZikaron that raised thoughts and led to discussions around the topic of "Israel's Wars".
The inter-movement encounter enables each movement to express its uniqueness while in unity strengthening the connection to Israel.
A joint leadership seminar is being planned for the coming year.
